ISOLATION

A lone tree sits isolated on the desert floor in the shadows of a sand dune at Soosusvlei in the Namib Desert. The light from the orange sunsets hitting the rust colored sand creates some great contrast to the shadows that the dunes form.

It's an incredibly beautiful place to be at any time of the day, but at sunset - as Paolo would say 'Unbelievable'.

Paolo was one of our travelling companions on the great Wildlight Safaris tour, a great guy and a very passionate Italian. One day we'll meet again.
