Pouto Under Starlight

I had been keeping an eye on the weather all week, hoping to get out to this location for a second time to try and capture the Milkyway over the top of this Lighthouse. The forecast was for clear skies all night!
I picked the bro up, made the three and a half hour drive and two hour walk out here. To our surprise on arrival the area was shrouded in cloud. We sat out here for near on four hours and only managed to capture a few images through the cloud. This is the second time I’ve ventured out here only to be foiled by the forecast!

Don’t get me wrong, I love going the extra mile and hiking to location but next time we’re 4WDing out here. The walk is bloody tough after being awake for nearing thirty hours!!
