Starry night

My name is Quinn, and I am a 14 Years old and have fell in love with photography. I live in Auckland but me and my family go down to a town called Whangamata all the time. I love Whangamata and we have been going down there for about 5 years now. I have made so many memories there and now that I am a photographer, I can make even more memories. I also love astronomy and space, and I always find myself looking up at the stars. One clear night at Whangamata, I wanted to capture the sky because I have never been able to before. My parents drove me to the end of the town overlooking a silent river. I set up my camera and we stayed there getting photos until past midnight. I have a Canon M50 and I used the kit lens zoomed out at 15mm. I set the aperture to as low as it goes: F3.5 and I put my iso to 500. I set my shutter speed to bulb mode then let it sit there for 7 and a half minutes before stopping it. I took this photo at 11pm in October and it is my favourite landscape photos I have gotten while following this passion.
